What Shapes Pleasure?
A 75-minute online educational workshop designed to help women better understand pleasure, desire and sexual well-being
Thursday, October 29, 2026 | 7:00–8:15 p.m. Pacific | Live online via Zoom
Pleasure is part of being human—and it is influenced by far more than libido.
Our bodies, beliefs, relationships, experiences, environments and circumstances can all shape how we understand and experience pleasure, desire, intimacy and connection—with ourselves and others.
In this warm, approachable and evidence-informed workshop, Audrey Panter, MSW, will introduce a broader way of understanding pleasure. You’ll receive practical information, thoughtful questions and space to consider what pleasure and sexual well-being mean for you at this point in your life.
Together, we’ll look at some of the many factors that can support or get in the way of pleasure and desire, question common myths and assumptions, and develop a richer understanding of sexual well-being.
What You’ll Take Away
- A broader understanding of pleasure and desire—topics often shaped by stigma, silence and misinformation
- Evidence-informed information about pleasure and sexual well-being
- Insight into how pleasure and desire can change as our bodies, relationships and circumstances change
- Greater awareness of what may support pleasure and well-being in your own life
- Questions and ideas to support continued reflection and discovery
Who Is This For?
This workshop is for adult women of all ages and life stages.
You may be approaching these topics for the first time, curious to better understand your own experience, navigating changes related to perimenopause, menopause or another stage of life, or simply interested in learning more.
You do not need to be experiencing a problem or going through a particular life transition.
Curiosity is enough. Nothing to fix. More to discover.
What to Expect
This is a relaxed, education-focused online workshop with approximately 60 minutes of teaching, practical information and optional private reflection, followed by 15 minutes for optional questions.
Camera optional. Sharing never required.
You can keep your camera off, and you will not be called on, asked to introduce yourself or expected to share personal experiences. You are welcome to listen, learn, reflect or ask questions at the level that feels comfortable for you.
