Understanding Desire, Pleasure & Intimacy Together
A 75-minute online educational workshop designed to help couples and partners better understand desire, pleasure, intimacy and each other
Thursday, November 19, 2026 | 7:00–8:15 p.m. Pacific | Live online via Zoom
Two people can care deeply about each other and still experience desire, pleasure and intimacy differently.
Each partner brings a different body, history, beliefs, experiences and life circumstances. These can shape how each person understands and experiences desire, pleasure, intimacy and connection—and they may not change in the same way or at the same time.
In this warm, approachable and evidence-informed workshop, Audrey Panter, MSW, will introduce a broader way of understanding desire, pleasure and intimacy. You’ll receive practical information, thoughtful questions and ideas to help you better understand yourselves and each other.
Together, we’ll look at some of the factors that can support or get in the way of desire and connection, question common myths and assumptions, and consider how greater understanding can support more open communication, connection and pleasure.

Who Is This For?
This workshop is for couples and partners who want to better understand desire, pleasure, intimacy and connection.
You may be curious about how desire works, noticing differences or changes between you, navigating a new life stage—including perimenopause or menopause—wanting to communicate more comfortably about intimacy, or simply interested in learning together.
You do not need to be experiencing a problem or relationship difficulty to attend.
Curiosity is enough. Nothing to fix. More to discover—together.
What to Expect
This is a relaxed, education-focused online workshop with approximately 60 minutes of teaching, practical information and optional private reflection or conversation with your partner, followed by 15 minutes for optional questions.
Camera optional. Sharing never required.
You can keep your camera off, and you will not be called on, asked to introduce yourselves or expected to share personal details about your relationship. Any reflection or conversation between you and your partner can remain private.
You are welcome to listen, learn, reflect or ask questions at the level that feels comfortable for both of you.
