Understanding Desire, Pleasure & Intimacy — Together is a one-time, live online workshop created for couples who want a clearer, more compassionate understanding of how desire, pleasure, and intimacy work — especially as bodies, hormones, and life circumstances change.
This workshop is educational, not therapy. There is no group sharing, no pressure to disclose personal details, and no expectation to “fix” anything. Instead, the focus is on shared understanding, language, and empathy — helping partners learn together so conversations at home feel easier and less loaded.
Many couples care deeply about their connection, but struggle to talk about desire or pleasure without confusion, worry, or self-blame. This workshop offers an evidence-informed framework that helps partners understand why things change — and what actually supports intimacy over time.
What we’ll explore
- How desire works — and why it often changes.
- The difference between desire, arousal, pleasure, and intimacy.
- Common myths that create pressure or misunderstanding.
- How stress, hormones, health, and life transitions influence connection.
- Practical ways couples can support pleasure and intimacy — together.
The emphasis is on learning and understanding, not performance or problem-solving.
